The Traveling Traveler humble beginnings was established in 1992 by owner Gary Lee Martinez who began his career in the travel industry working part-time and traveling to his clients homes or places of business in order to discuss their travel plans, and therefore the name "The Traveling Traveler" came about.

Soon afterwards, Gary converted his family's guest house into an office and a few months later he relocated his office to the South Bay where he was there for 15 years. In 2008 The Traveling Traveler moved to Whittier, CA where the company continues to be prosperous.

The Traveling Traveler is a member of the Whittier Chamber of Commerce (which Gary is on the board of directors), business community and is affiliated with several non-profit organizations.

Most of The Traveling Traveler's success is based on our repeat and referral business from our loyal clients. Which is a direct reflection of our team in offering personal service, great recommendations and creating a memorable vacation.
